No. ArrowPic runs entirely in your browser. Simply open the web app and start annotating immediately. No registration, downloads, or installations required.

All common formats: JPG/JPEG, PNG, GIF, WebP, and SVG files up to 50MB each. The app automatically optimizes loading for large images while maintaining quality.

❓ Which browsers work best?

Modern browsers recommended: Chrome 90+, Firefox 88+, Safari 14+, or Edge 90+ provide the best experience. Mobile browsers are fully supported with touch-optimized interfaces.

❓ How accurate are the measurements?

Pixel-perfect accuracy: Measurements are calculated based on image pixels with mathematical precision. However, real-world accuracy depends on your image scale and resolution.

❓ What measurement units are available?

Five units supported: Pixels (px), millimeters (mm), centimeters (cm), inches (in), and meters (m). Switch units anytime in settings - all measurements convert automatically with adjustable precision (0-4 decimal places).

❓ How does the adaptive scaling system work?

Intelligent scaling: ArrowPic uses adaptive scaling to maintain readability across different view sizes. The actual measurements remain accurate - only the visual presentation adapts for optimal clarity.

❓ Is the exported JPEG clear enough for professional use?

High-quality exports: Yes! The app exports at 2x resolution by default, providing crisp, professional-quality images suitable for documents, presentations, and printing. You can save files directly to your device or copy them to the clipboard for instant use in other applications.

Complete export capabilities: The app supports exporting high-resolution JPEG images, copying images to clipboard for instant pasting, and downloading files directly to your device for permanent storage. Mobile users can also use the native share functionality.

Local data storage: Yes! Your work is automatically saved on your device. You can export as JPEG for sharing or continue working on the same device where your project data is preserved safely.

100% local processing: No. All image processing and annotation happens entirely in your browser. Your images never leave your device unless you explicitly export or share them.

❓ Can I use this for confidential/proprietary images?
